CMI 200 Series Gauges
Feature Flexible Reach and Continuous Measurement
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL (November 16, 2004) — Oxford Instruments
Coating Measurement (OICM) has designed the CMI200 Series of
coating thickness measurement gauges to provide maximum flexibility
to a variety of applications. The CMI200 also features reliable
OICM technology and unique functions, such as an extendible
probe for hard-to reach areas, and a scanning option for large-surface-area
measurements.
The 200 Series gauge features a small, extendable right-angle
probe — affording a greater reach on a maneuverable
tool for measuring hard-to-reach surfaces. Additionally, this
gauge offers a unique scanning option that allows the user
to continuously measure over large areas with one swift measurement.
This scanning feature calculates an average measurement, giving
you an accurate reading for thickness over uneven or textured
substrates — and eliminating the need to take multiple
readings.
The CMI200 also utilizes a unique calibration system to measure
coating over pretreated substrates to accurately track surfaces
with varying coating thickness.
